So I’ve followed JB, Bill and Jamie throughout this Amazing Trilogy.

This is a book I read in less than a day and would recommend to anyone, even those who aren't avid horror fans like myself.

I loved that as the characters mature, so does the content. Joe's writing has improved with each book he has released in this trilogy with each being a little darker than the one before. There isn't just one twist at the end of this story, there is a twist hitting the reader every few chapters which encourages you to keep reading to find out what happens next. Just like the other books in the trilogy, Bury the Rabbit pays homage to the great horror movies, shows, and books of our generation and the riddles, while easier to solve in this book than the others in my opinion, were fun and original. This book was set up exactly how I imagine a Mini series would be set up for this story. The pacing of the book was excellent and I loved how Joe was able to convey what was happening to the rabitteers while they were separated without making the transitions between scenes awkward or confusing. While it isn't a story that will keep me up at night, double checking the locks, and making sure no boogey men are under the bed, it is definitely a trilogy I will reread! There are many layers to this story and each book in the trilogy pulled back more and more layers. Bury the Rabbit is horror but is not over the top graphic or scary.

I am not much of a horror reader and I was surprised by how much I loved this series! This series is older YA appropriate (in my opinion age 14/15 and up probably) because there is quite a lot of violence in the final book but the language is YA friendly and there is a romance, but no sexual situations. Bury the Rabbit is the third and final book in the Rabbit in Red Trilogy and I am SO sad that this series is over.
